Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the NoCook mobile application ("the App", "NoCook", "we") handles information. NoCook is designed to work without an account and to collect as little information as possible.
1. Information we do not collect
We do not ask you to create an account, sign in, or provide an email address. We do not operate analytics, advertising, or any third-party tracking SDKs inside the App.
2. On-device data
The App stores the following data locally on your device, never on our servers:
- Your saved favorite recipes
- Your daily nutritional goals (calories, macros)
- Your preferred units (metric or imperial) and language
- Your local food log entries
This data lives in your device's local storage and is removed if you delete the App. We have no access to it.
3. Subscriptions and purchases
Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple via the App Store. NoCook does not see your payment details. To deliver subscription entitlements we use RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous user identifier and your App Store receipt data for the sole purpose of validating purchases and managing your entitlement. RevenueCat acts as a data processor on our behalf.
Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
4. Children
NoCook is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
5. Your rights
Because we don't hold personal information about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete on your request. To erase on-device data, delete the App. To revoke or manage your subscription, use your Apple ID's subscription settings.
6. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
